Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

This is an introductory course in statistics. The aim is to understand of statistical methods for data analysis. Students will be able to interpret results of basic statistical analysis in a selected statistical software. The theory behind statistical tools and procedures will be described as well. Lectures will be in English. It is necessary to complete Mathematics 1 and Mathematics 2 courses or their equivalents.
