Summary
The science of danger and risk as scientific discipline. Basic concepts of safety, security, danger, risk and their nmanagement. Development of concepts in time and socio.cultural context. Risk ethic. Gnoseology of terms. Systematic and system approaches, general rules. Relation man-machine, philosophy and physology of risk management.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
During the course, student will get information about hazard and risk theory and understands paradigmes of risk and hazard theory. He/she will be able to choose relevant strategy of problem solving in cyndinique domain and understand relations with other disciplines.
Course Contents
Elememtary phenomenons in the science on danger. Hazard, risk, threat, likelihood and its forms (frequency, probability). Vulnerability. Possibilitis of risk quantification. Expression of impact, harmonization of scales. Acceptable risks, risk aversion and its consequences.
