1st year
• The course Safety in Electrical Engineering will be newly realised in block form at the beginning of the winter semester. The dates of the lessons will be published on the web pages of the department at the beginning of September.
• To pass into the second year, the student must get 40 credits for the first year.
2nd year
• The lessons in the summer semester last only 10 weeks.
• The scheduled excursions are part of the study plan.
• The studies are duly concluded with the State Final Examination. It includes the defence of the Master’s thesis. The final state examination courses:
I. Information and Communication Technologies
II. Mobile Technologies
• Information on the organisation of the studies is available on the web pages of the specialisation department http://kat440.vsb.cz/ in the section Studium/Kombinované studium.
• The optional-compulsory courses are compulsory for the specialisation for both years. Students who completed the courses Statistics I and Treatment of Numeric Signals during their bachelor’s studies must not enrol in them again.
1st year
• The courses Mathematical Logic (ML) and Treatment of Numeric Signals are no longer optional-compulsory courses for the MOT specialisation; they are only optional. The block of optional-compulsory courses newly includes the courses Operational Systems of Mobile Equipment (OSMZ) and Radio Cell Networks (RBS). Students who are repeating the year and have not completed the courses OSMZ and RBS will be enrolled in the courses OSMZ and RBS.
• To complete credits the students enrol in optional courses, preferably from the offer for the MOT specialisation, and this with regard to their specialisation, i.e. the so-called "recommended optional courses" (see the planning card and topic areas for the State Final Examination http://kat440.vsb.cz/ ). In addition, they can choose courses offered as optional courses of other specialisations of the IKT programme.
• The students in the second year enrol in only in those optional courses for the summer semester that are in the offer for the second year.
• The offer of optional courses can be limited during the enrolment if the number of students enrolled is low; the students will be informed by e-mail.
