Year 1:
• The subject of Safety in Electronics will be taught by way of extended sessions at the beginning of the winter term. The period of the lessons will be announced at the web pages of the Faculty at the beginning of September.
• To be able to progress into year 2, a student must obtain 40 credits from subjects passed in year 1.
• All subjects that a student signs up for, including optional subjects, become binding/compulsory on the day of signing up.
• Detailed instructions on signing-up for OSP can be obtained at the given field Department.
The field Department is the Department of Informatics.
Year 2:
• In the summer term, lessons are given only for the duration of 10 weeks.
• A student of year 2 is to sign up for optional subjects selecting only from the subjects offered for the given year.
• A student may register for the final state exam provided he/she has completed all signed-up subjects, has obtained 120 credits for the entire follow-up Master’s studies, and has submitted his/her Master thesis.
• The final state exam includes:
- The defence procedure of the Master’s thesis
- An exam from the compulsory subject of Information and Communication Technologies
- An exam from the compulsory subject of Safety in Information and Communication.
Subject Popularization of Science and Technology 2 could be enrolled on departmental secretary after discussion with guarantor of study programme/branch.
From subjects Introdution to English bussines and Technical Correspondation, Populariyation of Science and Technology 2, Corporate English I and II and Conversation (English, German, Rusissan and Spanish) students can collect just 4 credits in maximum in the follow-up master study.
Subject: English, German, Russian and Spanish conversation is designed:
1. Students wishing to study abroad (eg in the Erasmus program) write the subject for the semester before the planned trip.
2. Students of postgraduate studies, according to the capacity of the Department of Languages.
Students can enroll for the subject during the FEI (Bc + Nmgr) only once. The number of students who enroll in this subject will be limited by the Department of Languages according to their capabilities. Priority is always given to students studying abroad, followed by postgraduate students. Teaching must always be solved individually at the Department of Languages.
Subjects Company English 1 and 2 can be enrolled only once during the FEI (Bc + Nmgr) course.
If the student enrolls Company English 1 and 2 subjects as well as subject from the conversation offer, they will be credited to either 120+ credits from Company English 1 and 2 or conversation.
