1st year
• The course Safety in Electrical Engineering will be newly realised in block form at the beginning of the winter semester. The dates of the lessons will be published on the web pages of the department at the beginning of September.
• To pass into the second year, the student must get 40 credits for the first year.
• In the first and second years the students enrol in compulsory and optional-compulsory courses on the basis of the instructions given by the departmental secretariat of Electroenergetics or its web pages. The students enrol in optional courses according to the recommendations of departments in relation to their Master’s thesis topic.
• The specialisation is divided into five domains: transfer and distribution of electrical energy; production of electrical energy; electroenergetics in transport; electric instruments and machines, and commercial electric technologies.
• The scheduled excursions are part of the study plan.
2nd year
• The lessons in the summer semester last only 10 weeks.

• The scope of the final examination: the main course for specialisation: transfer and distribution of electrical energy – Electroenergetics of Industrial and Distribution networks, Electroenergetics in Transport – Electroenergetics in Transport, electrical energy production – Power plant equipment, electrical machines and instruments – Electrical machines or Electrical machines, commercial electrical technologies – Electrical machines or Technological Processes. A further course based on the Master’s thesis specialisation.
Subject: English, German, Russian and Spanish conversation is designed:
1. Students wishing to study abroad (eg in the Erasmus program) write the subject for the semester before the planned trip.
2. Students of postgraduate studies, according to the capacity of the Department of Languages.
Students can enroll for the subject during the FEI (Bc + Nmgr) only once. The number of students who enroll in this subject will be limited by the Department of Languages according to their capabilities. Priority is always given to students studying abroad, followed by postgraduate students. Teaching must always be solved individually at the Department of Languages.
Subjects Company English 1 and 2 can be enrolled only once during the FEI (Bc + Nmgr) course.
If the student enrolls Company English 1 and 2 subjects as well as subject from the conversation offer, they will be credited to either 120+ credits from Company English 1 and 2 or conversation.
