• In the winter and summer semesters, the optional courses Master Project 1 and Master Project 2 are offered. If the student chooses MP1, he / she must also enroll in MP2. In both subjects, students in groups solve a large professional project according to which specialization they are studying. In the summer semester in MP2, they defend the project.
• Second-year students enroll in optional courses from the offer for the second year in the summer semester.
• If a student enrolls in the course Business English and one of the conversations for the FEI during his / her studies, credits from either Business English or Conversation will be added to his / her 120 credits.
• The course Popularization of Science and Technology 2 will be enrolled at the Department of Students only to lead the Cybernetics Circle.
• The subject: English, German, Russian and Spanish conversation is intended for:
1. Students who want to travel abroad for a study stay (eg within the Erasmus program), enroll in the course for the semester before the planned trip.
2. Students of the follow-up master's study, according to the capacity of the Department of Languages.
3. Bachelor's students who have passed a foreign language exam (standardly after completing four semesters of foreign language teaching), according to the capacity of the Department of Languages
Students can enroll in the course only once during their studies at FEI. The number of students who can enroll in this course will be limited by the Department of Languages according to its possibilities. Priority is always given to students going on a study stay abroad. Follow-up master's degree students follow.
Teaching must always be solved individually at the Department of Languages.

During the study at FEI, students can enroll in optional courses from the Institute of Languages for a maximum of 4 credits.

German and Chinese can be studied in addition to the mandatory number of credits (120 credits).
