In the first year of their studies, students sign up for all compulsory subjects.
1st year
• The timetable of the subject Security in Electrical Engineering will be made available on the web pages of the Faculty (www.fei.vsb.cz) at the beginning of September.
• The checking of the studies takes place after the winter semester of the first year. To be able to continue with their studies in the summer semester, students must gain a minimum of 16 credits. Students who are repeating the first year must complete all the subjects of the winter semester of the first year of studies to be able to continue in the summer semester.
Students must gain a minimum of 40 credits to be able to progress into the second year of their studies.
2nd year
• During the summer semester students choose the topic of their bachelor thesis.
• Progress to the 3rd year - Students must complete all obligations prescribed for the 1st year and get min. 40 credits from 2nd year subjects.
3rd year
• The lessons of the summer semester of the third year of study take place for only 10 weeks.
• Students can sign up for a state final exam provided they have completed all the subjects they signed up for and have gained 180 credits for the whole duration of their bachelor’s studies, and have submitted their bachelor’s thesis.
• Final examination range: defense of bachelor thesis, compulsory subjects: Electronics and Electrical Engineering
Students sign up for a specific level of English language for each of the first four semesters. The language levels are as follows: a - beginner, b - advanced. Students are automatically signet up for an advanced level of English language. Please contact the Department of studies to change the language level.

Course Safety in Electrical Engineering 2 is designed for students who have taken the Safety in Electrical Engineering course 3 or more years ago.
