Summary
Within the framework of the subject "Structural Fire Design", students will be acquainted with the problems of fire resistance assessment of load-bearing structures in accordance with valid European standards. The subject is oriented to the main construction materials - concrete, steel, composite steel and concrete and timber. Checking the safety of load-bearing structures in a fire conditions is one of the standard requirements for the designers when designing and assessing the reliability of the load-bearing structures of buildings.
