Summary
Students are supposed to achieve basic knowledge in design of prestressed load bearing structures. Students get to know effect of prestressing on structures and technology of pre-tensioned and post-tensioned prestressed concrete. Students are acquainted with design of pre-stressing using different methods and with changes of prestressing. Students get knowledge about assessment of prestressed structure according to ultimate and serviceability limit state.
