Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Course provides students with basic knowledge of construction economics and management in the construction industry with special attention to the construction work. It emphasized the technical aspect of the economy with construction and use of economic decision theory and decision-making tools to solve problems. The importance of economic construction and construction management in the context of increasing life-cycle cost of buildings, utilities and maintenance of long-term sustainable development investments.

Summary

The course provides basic information on the construction market conditions and legal status of the construction business, including obligations under construction. Particular attention is paid to production and production preparation, planning and management process. The topics such as organization and management of construction company. The course is the schedule of construction and the basic concept of building operation. Expected to apply the knowledge already gained in technical subjects, economic and social.
