Students should gain basic knowledge of design, construction and operation of individual elements of water supply and sewerage in context with other areas of urban construction and regulations. They handle simple preparation of project documentation water and sewerage network, including determining the basic parameters and dimensions of part of the network. Knowledge use in the design and administrative practices

Summary
Course contents: Basic knowledge of water and sewerage construction including wastewater treatment. The water supply section includes lessons on conception and calculation of water mains, preparation, treatment, accumulation and pumping of water, water supply network. Part of the sewerage system contains sewerage concepts and calculations, waste water types, long-distance networks, sewage treatment plants and their importance for surface water quality. An integral part of the subject is the solution of precipitation water problems. Relevant current laws and regulations are listed.
