Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Students will theoretically acquire knowledge about new, progressive building materials and their use. Practical skills will be gained during laboratory testing of the properties of these building materials.

Summary

The students are acquainted with the problems of development of modern building materials, with the issue of verification of their physico - mechanical properties and durability characteristics. Particular attention is paid to material compatibility in applications and durability of these materials.
