Summary

Lectures in alternative raw building materials are concentrated on basic knowledge of alternative materials that can be used in manufacturing of progressive building materials with high quality of usable properties. These lectures are closely connected with the present trend when main attention is put on ecology, environmental policy and energy saving. Attention is therefore put on non-traditional inorganic and organic materials that have to be used in building technologies. Students obtain theoretical knowledge on alternative materials properties and use.
