Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The course deals with waste utilization in the civil engineering. Students are acquainted with valid legislation, terminology and division of usable waste in the building industry. Students will then be able to orientate themselves in the problems of coal tailings, by-products of metallurgical production and energy production, products of other materials combustion (biomass, paper sludge, municipal waste, etc.), recyclates, tires and plastics, glass, or other secondary raw materials.
