Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim of the course is to introduce students with the technology of underground excavation works particularly small cross dimensions (collectors, galleries, water and sewer facilities, gallery and gallery), focusing on drilling and blasting work. Part of the design and dimensions support construction, machinery and determine the face of technological times excavation cycle of operations. Next is devoted to continuous excavation technology by tunnelig machines, TBM.

Summary

The main topic of the course is to get acquainted with the problems of underground support structures and their construction technology. There are defined basic requirements for the design of underground and mine workings. The reinforcements are divided according to individual materials and their flatness. The parameters of bolts and bolt reinforcement are defined here. The subject also solves the technology of the construction of horizontal linear works (galleries) by the conventional method of excavation. The individual stamping operations and the machinery used in the excavation are analyzed. Part of the subject is an introduction to the continental method of stamping underground works.
