Summary
Geodynamics is a field of science dealing with dynamic processes in the individual geospheres of the Earth. Students will gradually acquaint themselves with the most important endogenous geodynamic processes in the deep and shallow zones of the Earth generating geomagnetic field, earthquakes, volcanic activity, etc. The greatest attention will be paid to the geodynamic processes in the shallow zone of lithosphere that directly affect the engineering activities in the Czech Republic such as weathering, erosion, suffosion, karst phenomena and slope movements.
