Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The aim of the course is to acquaint students of Structural engineering with basic principles of architectural design (working, structure and architectural language) and prepare them for future cooperation with architects in designing and realization of buildings as well as their own design practice.

Summary
Students will analyze existing (well-designed) buildings for housing. They will learn the basics of typological and compositional principles of architectural design.
