Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The goal of this course is to provide students the general professional basis for further study. The course informs students with a clear manner the full range of professional areas that are part of the civil engineering. At the end of the studies is included a written test in which the student demonstrates knowledge of professional terminology and basic understanding of relational dependencies between different professional areas.

Summary

The course introduces students to the full range of professional areas that are part of the building. Attention is focused on the issue of building materials, engineering and bridge design, geotechnical and underground construction, road construction, traffic engineering, urban engineering, built environment, preparation and construction and facility management.
