Summary

Course students learn about road safety issues articulated in the areas of vehicle, infrastructure and human factors. An integral part will be familiar with the statistics of traffic accidents, accident monitoring system in the CR and abroad, with the methods and analysis procedures DN, the methods of identifying risk. They also become familiar with the instruments of the European Parliament and Council 2008/96/EC. Attention will also be given active and passive vehicle safety, aggressive behavior, HMI (Human Machine Interface). The course also gain knowledge about different types of rail systems and security equipment, security capabilities, railway crossings, risk factors for railway crossings, including related legal and technical regulations. Last but not least, the lessons focus on rail accidents and the process of investigation, evaluation.
