Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim is to gain knowledge of designing and building roads. Attention will be focused especially on the design of the road route according to the required parameters and ways of designing the road pavements, including the technological procedures and the realization.

Summary

Lectures and seminars are focused on fundamental questions of road designing, with emphasis on the design and construction of roads and pavement design, including material properties and building technology. Exercises are taught in a computer room using specialized software.
