Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The subject provides basic information about heating and ventilation of buildings. The student will acquire basic knowledge of building heating systems and heat sources. Gaining knowledge in the field of renewable energy sources and their use in heating systems. They will become familiar with the basic principles of building ventilation design. After completing the course, the student will be able to design a standard solution for a heating and ventilation system based on the layout and design of a simple building. The student will be able to use this knowledge for complex building design.

The course introduces students to the heating of buildings - heat source, design and individual heating pipes heating surfaces.
