Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Students will deepen their knowledge and skills in the field of thermal behavior of buildings, heating, daylight and building acoustics. Upon completion of the course the student can solve basic problems and perform calculations and proposals for building heating, energy performance of buildings, daylighting and building acoustics. Students will be acquainted with simple graphical calculation methods and with more complex simulation calculation programs (Heat, Loss, Energy, WDLS, SunLis). Students will acquire practical knowledge with noise measurements in the outdoor and indoor areas of buildings.
