Gurantor department | Department of Structural Mechanics |
Subject guarantor | prof. Ing. Alois Materna, CSc., MBA |
Study level | undergraduate or graduate |
Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Student can determine degree of deformational indeterminacy of structure. He/she is able to formulate appropriate computational model to solve structure by slope-deflection method. He/she is able to use the slope-deflection method to solve plane frames and trusses. He/she is able to solve multispan-continuous beams and frames by simplified version of slope-deflection method.
