Summary

Subject continues on knowledge, obtained trough technological subjects study and develops into the deepest knowledge connected with tools construction. Division of particular lectures is implemented in concordance with methodical lines and logical sequence (cutting tools materials, cutting tools geometry, turning tools, tools for holes, draw-through and extruding tools, milling cutters and milling cutter heads, thread tools, tools for spur gears, module tools for NC machine tools and centres) from the simpler tools to more developed tools. In each chapter are named new progressive construction of tools, attention is paid to their use, servicing and requirements which are posed on their quality increase. Through study of subject „TOOLS“ students will familiarize their selves with basic problems concerning cutting tools drafting, status quo and developing tendencies in this area.
