Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

- apply theoretical background from process engineering course on to operation with experimental setups of pilot plant scale - experimental proof of basic principles of heat mass and momentum transport processes - evocate practical experience to students who treat experimental setup of pilot plant scale up to now only theoretically

Teaching methods

Individual consultations
Experimental work in labs

Summary

Process engineering laboratory supply and extend education in process engineering and enable experimental application of theory on to pilot plant scale apparatuses. Simple principles of heat, mass and momentum transfer are treated as a seven individual experimental tasks, (packed bed absorption column, bubble cup rectification column, sedimentation column, plate heat exchanger, conventional dryer, chamber filter press, fuel cells).

Compulsory literature:

Instruction in the laboratory of process engineering – předá vyučující v laboratoři.
