Summary
Structure and physical properties of molten metals. The principles of metal
flowing, pressure conditions in gatings. The running property of liquid metals
and alloys and their coherence with the design of castings. The thermal and
physical processes in a casting and in a mould. Interaction between casting
and
mould. Crystallization and solidification of castings.
