Individual consultations
Summary
Specific problems of analytics of environmental compartments. Taking samples
of soils, water, air, emissions and waste, their stabilization, transport and
treatment. Separation techniques. Classical methods of analysis (gravimetry,
volumetry), electrochemical methods (potentiometry, polarography, coulometry),
spectroscopic methods (IR, UV-VIS, AAS, ICP, XRF), chromatography (GC, HPLC,
TLC) and phase analysis (X-ray diffraction). Continual analyzers. Typical
pollutants and their analysis. Metrology in analytical chemistry, ensuring the
quality of analyses.
Compulsory literature:
Literature will be selected individually according thesis subject.
