Explanation of fundamental factors in world economy. Explanation of
differences in historical economic systems as a base for understanding actual economic situation and trends.

Subject syllabus:
1st Introduction to the study. Determination of conditions for the course, analysis of the literature course.
2nd The emergence of civilization. Origin and evolution of man. Material basis of civilization.
3rd The basic developmental stages of economic systems. The concept of the economic system. Opinions on the economic system. Characteristics of different economic systems.
4th The economic systems of antiquity. Antique, Eastern economic system.
5th The economic systems of the Middle Ages. The feudal system of Western Europe. Feudal system east.
6th Manufactures the world economy. Manufacture as an economic
phenomenon. Socio-economic ties of manufacture´s system.
7th The beginnings of the Industrial Revolution and the birth of industrial civilization. Great Britain, France, USA, Russia, Japan.
8th Economic development in the onset of the second Industrial Revolution. Characteristic processes of economic development in Europe, America and Asia in 1830 - the 1880th.
9th Second Industrial Revolution and the socio-economic processes. Economic development 1880-1920, 1st World War I and World Economy.
10th Bipolarity of the world the U.S. - USSR. Trends 1920 - 1945. Analysis
U.S. economy and the USSR.
11th The position of Europe after the 2nd World War II. Postwar reconstruction. Four centers global economic developments 1950 - 1980.
12th The economic development of developing countries. Asian and African economies, 1950 - 1980.
13th The economic development of the world in the 90 years. The rise of the U.S., EU, Japan, China. The collapse of the Soviet bloc.
