Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The aim of the course is to define the risk factors associated with brownfields. Evaluate the information obtained and assess the degree of risk of impact on public health.

Summary
Students will gain knowledge on assessment of the impact of brownfields have on public health. These are mainly physical, chemical and socio-economic factors. The information obtained will lead not only to the knowledge on the risks and exposure but also to the possibility of reducing all the risk factors with an effect on the individual health.
