Students will achieve fundamental overview on nanomaterials and nanotechnologies, understand basic principles and characteristics of new phenomena and objects at nanoscale. Students become acquainted with current application trends and vision of the study programe Nanotechnology will be outlined.

Summary

Úvodní předmět do studia nanotechnologií je rozdělen na dvě základní oblasti. V první se studenti seznámí s nanosvětem v porovnání v makrosvětem, jejich charakteristikami, výskytem přírodních nanostruktur a nanomateriálů, procesy, kterými nanostruktury vznikají a také historií používání nanomateriálů a současností nanotechnologií. Druhá oblast je zaměřena na konkrétní typy nanomateriálů a jejich cílené aplikace v oborech energetiky, ochraně životního prostředí, biomedicíně a dalších.
