Summary

Energetika a biomedicína jsou jedny z hlavních oborů, kde se nanotechnologie a nanomateriály velmi rychle prosadily. Předmět v první části seznamuje studenty s možnostmi využití nanotechnologií pro energetické obory, ve kterých nanomateriály a nanotechnologické inovace představují potenciál pro zvýšení energetické účinnosti ve všech odvětvích průmyslu a ovlivňují všechny části energetického řetězce, kterými jsou obecně získávání, zpracování a využití energie. V druhé části předmětu bude věnována pozornost nanotechnologickým postupům a nanomateriálům, které jsou navrhovány, nebo se již používají v lékařských vědách a farmacii.
