Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The student will gain an overview of the applications of nanotechnologies and nanomaterials in environmental protection. They will get acquainted with the strategic goals of the European Union, which lead to the sustainable development of society and the possibilities of applying nanotechnologies and nanomaterials in technologies that lead to environmental protection.

Summary

Předmět Environmentální nanotechnologie seznamuje studenty s aplikacemi nanotechnologií, které souvisí s ochranou životního prostředí. Nejedná se výlučně o technologie, které odstraňují znečištění životního prostředí, ale rovněž o moderní technologie, které vedou ke snížení negativních dopadů na životní prostředí již v průběhu výroby. V předmětu nejsou zahrnuty aplikace nanotechnologií v energetice a biomedicíně.
