Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The student who completes the course should be able: - to define and apply basic information and knowledge about building materials used in water construction, transport construction and structural engineering - to prepare, defend and describe simple project documentation for a house.

Summary

This subject gives the basic knowledge about constructions and land buildings and objects related (water structures, transportation etc.) - building concretes and currently applied constructions in constructional engineering, - steel and wood constructions, - construction documentation, - structural system of a building, - chimneys, stairs, building roofs, - road body longitudinal and transversal section, drainage, formation, composition of road construction, road design, - railway constructions and airports, - water management buildings.

Continuous control of students' knowledge during the semester is performed as follows: 1) control of assigned tasks for the elaboration of a semester project, always in individual exercises; 2) writing the final test in the last exercise. 3) written and oral exam
