Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
• To identify and describe different types of systems ands systemic tasks
• To define principles of hard and soft systems methodology and a the differences of their application
• To distinguish and apply different approaches in the systems design
• To characterize the organizing process and organization as a system to apply systems methodology
• To classify from different points of view hard and soft systems characteristics of the organization
• To discuss the role and the systemic links of management processes
• To recommend on the basis of gained skills particular changes in the organizational management systéme

Summary
The aim of the course is to present on the basis of systems methodology
systems
methods and system approach as a tool for comprehensive problem solution and
system design. Students should understand the complexity of an organisation
and its management system as application field of systems methodology. They
recognise systemic characteristics of the organisation and its management
system as basis for management systems modelling and problem solving.
