The course deals with the challenges in securing the mining surveying surveying documents and their processing for mapping documentation for the extraction of minerals mining methods.

Subject syllabus:
Lectures:
1. Specification and contents of mining point fields, stabilization and signalling of points
2. Underground traverses, their specification, their characteristic, cross and longitudial difference of straight traverse
3. Measurement of angels and distances
4. Measurement of natural directions (princip of gyroskope, methods of measurement)
5. Connection and orientation measurement by horizontal or gently dipping mining working, accuracy of this measurement
6. Connection and orientation measurement by a shaft with 2 plumbs, accuracy of direction of transfer line, transfer points by plumb, beats of plumb
7. Connection and orientation measurement by 2 shifts with a plumb and its accuracy
8. Connection and orientation measurement by point and direction, gyrotheodolite connection and orientation measurement , accuracy of this measurement
9. Optic transfer of point from surface to underground
10. Measurement of hights in underground, geometric levelling, trigonometric measurement of hights, trigonometric levelling
11. Transfer of elevation measurement by steel tape line or electrooptic rangefinder
12. Delineation of direction, dip, point on the line, extension of line
13. Break-through traverse
14. Calculation of area of deposits, thickness of deposits, calculation of content
