Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Students receive basic infromation of STATICS, KINEMATICS, DYNAMICS. The problematic is explaining having regards to safety of construction, safety with transport, manipulation and so on.

Summary

The course introduces students to the fundamentals of engineering applications and computational methods in the mechanics of rigid bodies and systems of such bodies. Attention is focused on three main areas—statics, kinematics, and dynamics of bodies—which are covered separately. The main objective of the course is to simplify the understanding of mechanical systems. Key concepts include equilibrium, as well as the principles of the method of releasing bodies and their systems. Emphasis is also placed on clarifying the basic concepts of engineering mechanics, which will enable students to communicate effectively with mechanical engineers in practice. The learning outcomes include gaining an understanding of mechanical systems, the ability to formulate a technical problem, and mastering basic procedures for solving simple technical problems.
