            Summary

One of the final subjects of Mining Engineering. The studentss will gain the
knowledge of regulations connected with the planning, design and/or closing of
opencast mines, with the assessing of geological conditions of deposits as a
basis for decision-making process for opening, preparation and mining of
mineral and raw material deposits. All the necessary documentation needed for
opencast mine planning and projecting is described in detail.
