Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The student will be able as follows: - to know the bases of foundry technology and the types of forming wastes; - to classify foundry waste according to its volume and danger degree; - to analyse possibilities of secondary utilization of foundry wastes (moulding mixture, slag, dusts, refractory materials); - to choose the most suitable method of moulding mixture reclamation according to the binder system; - to evaluate conditions of waste recycling from dedusting systems
