Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim of this course is to make the students acquainted with the issue of equipping of buildings with fire safety equipment and also make them acquainted with computing methods for solving of fire safety in buildings.

Summary

Application of computing methods to solving fire safety in structures. Interpretation of computing models of fire spread, person evacuation, heat fields in fire, methodologies for the design of smoke and heat exhausting systems, self-extinguishing devices, fire alarm and detection systems.
