Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Knowledge of basic building constructions of ground structures and their functions.
Representation of building constructions in design documentation. Orientation
in building drawings. Understanding of constructions associated with fire
safety in buildings.
Teaching methods
Summary
Advanced course on building constructions. It covers information on elements
and building constructions and their characteristics, broadens the overview
and characteristics of other building construction systems in connection with
fire protection. It includes the most frequent failures in building
constructions and possibilities of their mitigation.
