Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The graduate will be able to dermine the factors affecting the reliability of materials and production in the relation to the safety of work. He will be able to evaluate these factors in a way securing the reliability of production, effectiveness and safety at work.

Summary
The prenciple of the theory of reliability, mutual relationship between safety and reliability. The obtaining and analysis of reliability data using Weibull distribution. Examples of reliability procedures for components, equipment and systems. The application of the most used methods, i.e. FTA, FMECA, Markov analysis. Probability modeling of reliability.
