Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Cílem předmětu je shrnutí základních poznatků o fyzikálních a chemických jevech uplatňujících se při procesech v atmosféře a v plameni (např. při havarijních situacích) a představit současné přístupy aplikované při jejich modelování a diagnostice. Předmět je orientovaný na modelování chemicky reaktivních toků, především procesů v atmosféře a v plameni.

Subject syllabus:

Introduction to atmospheric and combustion processes. Structure of matter and molecular dynamics. Interaction of light and matter. Thermodynamics and equilibrium systems. Statistical thermodynamics and kinetic theory of gases. Transport processes in gases. Fluid dynamics and turbulent flows. Reaction kinetics. Mathematical modeling of processes in atmosphere and flame. Physical modeling of processes in atmosphere and flame. Chemically reactive flows in the context of safety engineering.
