Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The essence of this course is to describe the activities of fire units on the site of an incident, identify hazards on-site and choose the appropriate protection. Includes a selection of disposal routes for emergencies based on the knowledge their symptoms, possible use of technical equipment and fire equipment and other rescue options system. In addressing the emphasis on the safety of persons, animals, property and the environment presents calculations of forces and resources to fighting the use of extinguishing agents and selected other business units to quantify Fire protection in interventions.

Summary

Fire Tactics II deals with procedures for fire suppression solutions that are formulated on the basis of practical experience of fire-fighting activity. The course presents procedures for the determination of forces and means required for fire suppression by water, foam, extinguishing powders, inert gases, and further quantifies procedures during water supply to the place of fire.

Subject syllabus:

1st Fire fighting, fire tactics, strategy, decision-making intervention, content and continuity of operations units, determine the main direction of activity, setting battle sequences. 2nd Fire fighting, offensive and defensive action, determining the time required to break the fire. Danger on the fire site, prevalence and characteristics of the factors that threaten the health and lives of people (high temperature, smoke, electrical shock, explosion, fall, etc.). 3rd Fighting fires in difficult conditions, the strong wind, frost and water shortages. Transport of water on the fire place. 4th Documentation of fire fighting, fire tactical study, operational plan and the card content and method of processing. Evacuation plans. 5th Estimation of forces and means of fighting using foam, inert gas fire extinguishing powder. 6th Principles of fire fighting buildings for housing and accommodation, amenities buildings. The principles of open fire-fighting technological equipment, power equipment. Principles of fire fighting equipment and fire vehicles in transport. Principles of extinguishing fires in storage and agriculture, temporaries, special purpose buildings and facilities.
