Summary
The course familiarises students with principles of timely fire detection and
fire-hazardous situations and the detection of releases of combustible and
toxic gases and vapours, principles of function of various fire detectors and
of the whole systems of FDA. Problems of effective ensuring fire detection in
various spaces by means of FDA and cooperation with other fire-safety devices. Inclusion of fire safety equipment into the fire safety of structures and technologies. Use of fire safety equipment in highway and road tunnels.
