Summary

Information and information technologies are driving forces of modern society. Therefore the student must be acquainted with fundamental concepts of information theory in general and also with the practical view on information technology applications. Students will be also provided with provisions of the Copyright Act, especially the provisions that deal with the distribution and dissemination of programs and other author works disseminated mainly electronically.
