Experimental work in labs
Summary
Students will learn the fundamentals of measurement theory and experimental data acquisition, metrology, measuring instruments and their properties. They will learn to evaluate the results of measurement error and uncertainty of measurement results. attention is paid to the explanation of the most widely used principles of measurement and measuring instruments, no focus on their specific technical implementation. Students measure value geometric variables , temperature, pressure , air flow , basic electrical values.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester
During the semester, a maximum of 80 points can be obtained for scored activities. The condition is mandatory participation in practical exercises (possible absence must be replaced); uploading 8 created protocols to the LMS. Each activity / protocol is evaluated 0 - 10 points.
The course ends with a successful completion of a written test (min. 10 points), where the student's knowledge is tested, and a maximum of 20 points can be obtained. In case of failure, one repetition is possible.
The overall evaluation of the course is given by the sum of points for activities / protocols and the test. The minimum for recognition of the subject is 51 points.
You can use any study materials for the study, incl. internet resources. Pay attention only to the quality of the materials used.
