Summary
By teaching the course, students will understand the importance and function of building structures and then apply the technical requirements for fire protection of non-industrial buildings. They analyze the conditions of evacuation, the possibility of the spread of fire in the building and the surrounding area, apply the requirements for fire intervention, or. apply elements of active fire protection, i.e., fire safety equipment aimed at the protection of persons, animals and property with an emphasis on ensuring the conditions for successful fire intervention.
Compulsory literature:
Recommended literature:
Standards - EN, BS, NFPA, DIN
Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester
Elaboration of semester work in the specified range (fire safety design of the building), active participation in seminars, written test. The form of verification of study results (exam) is combined, both oral and written.
E-learning
Other requirements
Active compulsory participation in exercises in the range of 80%, elaboration of semester work in the specified range.
