Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim of the course is to provide students with the skills and knowledge of small, medium and large enterprise managers providing the appropriate level of fire safety according to the types of work and operations. The student is able to define the degree of fire risk in connection with the type of operation, knows the requirements for the operation of fire safety and fire extinguishing systems (inspections, operability and certification), can define technical and organizational measures to ensure fire safety

Summary

The course conceptually describes the cycle of fire danger associated with construction, shows the basic principles of fire safety and risk analysis. Subsequently, the course focuses on understanding the concept of operating activities, explains the principles on the basis of which it is possible to adopt appropriate organizational and technical security, which will provide an adequate level of fire safety.

1. Criteria for evaluating the use of the building (project documentation, decisions) 2. Analysis of risks associated with the work 3. Risk acceptance assessment 4. Measures applicable to eliminate the risks of the activities carried out (technical, organizational) 5. Characteristics of fire safety and extinguishing systems, stable connection to technical and organizational measures 6. Conditions for operation of fire safety and extinguishing systems (inspection, operability and certification) 7. The possibility of replacing technical measures of JPO applications 8. Basic principles of firefighting using virtual reality (CESIT - center of simulation technologies) 9. Influence of insurance companies on fire protection
