Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the rules of writing academic thesis (or dissertations), verification and possibly supplementing knowledge of techniques of working with a text editor (Microsoft Word), acquaintance with basic methods of scientific work and compilation of systematic scientific research on individual topics.

Summary
The student of the technical college should be able to clearly, concisely and systematically formulate his ideas and results of the work. For this purpose, training is used on the campus in the form of final theses (bachelor's thesis, diploma thesis or dissertation). To relevantly fulfill any of them, it is necessary to master the system of writing, scientific methods, software and the principles of searching and sorting data in order to obtain specific information. The aim of this subject is to provide basic knowledge and skills in above mentioned fields of interest.

Recommended literature:
Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester
Proven knowledge of the principles for processing and submission of final theses
Proven knowledge of working with a text editor at the level required by the lecturer
Elaboration of a „literature search“ focused an individual topic of the final thesis
