Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The essence of the course is the application of knowledge in the evaluation of conditions and the risk of de-velopment of fires in the open air in enclosed spaces. The course explains the real fighting ability to understand the physical and chemical principles of the combustion process. Involves the use of knowledge to facilitate the introduction of process patterns in theoretical combustion, heat transfer and mass transfer, the spread of smoke and phenomena associated with the development of a fire. Then possible to use engineering tools for calculating selected parameters and assess fire conditions for the spread-fire. Evaluates findings to formulate assumptions for the evaluation and development of fires in real-world conditions based on knowledge of the properties and behavior of a real fire.

Summary
Fire Dynamics is focused on the issues of formation, development and fully developed fire and the principles of its interruption. It is also directed to the related phenomena that accompany the particular fire in closed premises. Fire Dynamics introduces the processes used in the determination of parameters that accompany and characterize fire.
